Abstract (EN)

In this study, the structure and functioning of Provincial Sports Security Committees established to prevent violence in sports competitions were examined in the case of Eskişehir. In the first part of the study, the importance and meaning of coordination activities in organizations are emphasized. For this purpose, pioneering studies in management science are included and the studies on coordination and cooperation between organizations are examined. In the second part, the arrangement and structures made in order to prevent violence and disorder in sports in Turkey from past to today are discussed and readily available coordination mechanisms in the application were examined. In the third part, information about the method of the field research; In the fourth section, the findings of the interviews with the relevant persons and the competitions participated and the decisions of the Commiteee examined are given. In this context, the functioning and disruptive aspects of the existing coordination structure are presented. In the last part of the study, evaluations and suggestions for improving the coordination and cooperation between the institutions are given.
