Abstract (EN)
Examining Mental Endurance, Success Dive and Conscious Awareness Levels in Sporty Diving Athletes according to Different Demographic Variables The aim of this research is to examine the levels of Mental Toughness, Success Drive and Conscious Awareness in sporty diving athletes. In the research, general screening model from quantitative research methods was used as a research method. The study groups of the research consist of 120 female and 190 male, 310 active athletes in total. As a data collection tool, "Mental Resilience in Sports Inventory" developed by Sheard et al. (2009) and conducted by Altintas (2015), a Turkish adaptation study, Heckert et al. (1999), "Success Need Drive Inventory", which was adapted in Turkish by Sivri (2010) and developed by Brown and Ryan, (2003), and "Conscious Validity and Reliability" by Özyeşil et al. (2011) Awareness Scale" was used. In the analysis of the data, identifying statistics, T-test, One Way ANOVA analysis and Correlation analysis were performed using SPSS 25 Package program. In the analysis according to the working status variable, a significant relationship was found between part-time employees and full-time employees between the motivation for success and the variables of conscious awareness (p≤0.05). In the study, a statistically significant difference in conscious awareness size was determined according to the variable of difficulty in leisure (p≤0.05). According to correlation analysis data, a moderate positive difference was found between athletes' mental toughness, need for success drive and conscious awareness dimension (p≤0.05). A statistically moderate positive relationship was found between the mental toughness, need for success and conscious mindfulness levels of sporty diving athletes (p≤0.05). As a result, regular participation in sporty diving activity increases the drive for mental endurance and achievement needs. It is also understood that the badge level and the level of conscious awareness in full-time employees are high
