Abstract (EN)

This research is a descriptive survey model conducted to determine the socialization levels of individuals participating in recreational activities for sportive purposes. The universe of the research consists of individuals who are members of a sports club or who have just started a faculty in Batman. The easily accessible sampling method was preferred as the sample. Within the scope of the research, 395 scales were distributed and 344 of them were suitable for analysis. The socialization scale developed by Şahan (2007) was used with some variables in the research. In the study, to determine whether the data provide a normal distribution, kurtosis, skewness and median values were examined and it was concluded that the data provided a normal distribution. SPSS package analysis program was used in the analysis of the data obtained in the study. In this direction, frequency information, reliability, normal distribution tests, t-Test and ANOVA analyzes of the participants were performed. According to the results of the research, the socialization levels of individuals participating in recreational sports activities are high. While the socialization levels of the individuals participating in the research differed significantly according to gender and the way they participated in recreational sports activities, it did not show a significant difference according to the variables of marital status, age, income level, and number of activities per week.
