Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of sports on the virtual addiction level of high school students. The sample of the study consists of 430 high school students studying in 10 different high schools in Bolu province in the spring term of 2018-2019 academic year. As data collection tools, Social Media Disorder Questionnaire adapted by Savcı (Savcı,2015), Smart Phone Addiction Scale adapted by Noyan (Noyan,2015) and Digital Game Addiction Scale adapted by Irmak (Irmak,2016) were used in this study. Results of this research showed that sport has significant effect on high-school students' social media addiction, digital game addiction and smartphone addiction.
