Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to investigate the services offered to the students of Sakarya University in the widespread use of sports in the society and to examine the levels of participation of the students who study in the undergraduate department of the university in physical activity and the changes of exercise behavior. In order to reach the research purpose, a total of 230 students (101 female and 129 male) attending Sakarya University participated as volunteers. There was a statistically significant difference between men and women in terms of their level of behavior (P> 0,05). It was observed that there was no statistically difference between the age groups according to age variables (P> 0,05). There was a statistically significant difference between the sections in terms of behavioral stages according to the department variable (P <0.05). There was a statistically significant difference between the height groups according to height variables (P <0.05). Gender, weight and height were found to differ in behavioral change stages. At the same time, there were no differences according to age variables. As a result, students' results of gender differences in favor of male students in terms of physical activity change steps were obtained. It was observed that female students participating in the research were predominantly involved in the intention line while male students were predominantly in the continuity phase, the last stage of physical activity change.
