ABSTRACT Master Thesis SOME SYSTEMATIC MOMENTS OF ORDER STATISTICS Gökhan GÖKDERE Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Mathematics 2005, Page : 19 This thesis consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, some fundamental definitions and theorems are given. In the second chapter, fundamental formulas for some systematic moments of order statistics are investigated. In the third chapter, approximate calculations of some systematic moments of order statistics are examined and numerical results for some special distributions are given.
