Abstract (EN)

Stanislavski is a universal and contemporary theatre person who radically changed the understanding of theatre. His universality is due to the spread of the transformation he started in Russia in the field of directing and acting. The feature that makes him contemporary is that the acting method he developed is still valid. Stanislavski, with new translations of his works and books on his system, still maintains his importance today in terms of acting studies and staging methods that centre realistic acting. Especially, the Method of Physical Actions, which constitutes the core of his theory, has recently attracted more attention. In this study, a three-stage path was followed. First, Stanislavski's Method of Physical Actions was examined and a rehearsal system was tried to be created using the findings. This rehearsal sequence was followed step by step and adapted to Athol Fugard's 'A Place with the Pigs ' play. Finally, the play was brought to the stage with the steps aforementioned. The aim of this study is to make an acting based staging using the Physical Actions Method. Keywords: Stanislavski, Method of Physical Actions, Acting
