Game Theory and Literature were previously studied together by a handful of scholars to identify a better place for game theory as a beneficial companion in literary processes. Although the field of study regarding the relationship between game theory and literature hasn't fully grown up to be a complete area of expertise, previous effort has shown that literary field of practices prove a fertile ground for game theory applications. This research aims to expand upon the idea of the relationship between game theory and literature by bringing forth an argument to follow. Applications of game theoretical concepts to literature generally show that literary works in line with the game theoretical concepts have the ability to enhance, amplify, intensify the overall literary experience. The data for this research will be collected through by applying a few select game theoretical concepts to excerpts from select literary works. The selected works for the application are Stefan Zweig's Schachnovelle and J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. Whether the excerpts are in line with game theoretical solutions regarding the presented problem or not will be the key point in determining the overall relationship of game theoretical framework with literary practices . Subjective analysis will be used throughout the research as there would be no possible absolute determiners for this kind of research due to its subjective liability. This study aims to fill the gap in the sub field of game theory and literature where there is a clear lack of a statement and focus regarding their relationship. This research aims to provide a more clear and straightforward approach to the relationship of game theory and literature with the addition of a clear statement regarding their interrelation.
