Investigation, design and development of steganographic tools

In this work, steganografik tools were investigated and a software was developed for hiding audio, image and text files into audio files. In addition, a folder lock software was also developed for using steganographic tools to provide personel information security in our daily life. Analysis was made on the softwares to increase the robustness of steganographic tools against steganalysis. Encryption options like AES, DES and 3DES were also introduced in the software for providing information security as well as providing communication security. In the developed software, the process of random data hiding into the wav files set by LSB modification is occured with the help of a key. The tool makes the security independent from the algorithm by hiding according to a key and provides robustness against steganalysis attacks by random hiding. By hiding data into the wav files set instead of only one file, it provides indirect solution to the hiding capacity that results from random data hiding. Both communication and data security wav provided by the sofware that was developed in this thesis work. vii It is examined that, this work will introduce important contributions to provision of high information security in our country, to the future works related to this topic and to increasing the security consciousness.
