Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out to investigate the effects of programming activities prepared according to STEM education on students' attitudes towards group environments and entrepreneurship skills. The sample of the research consists of 57 students studying in the sixth grade of a public school located in Atakum, Samsun. The research was carried out according to the sequential explanatory mixed design. Quasi-experimental pre-test post-test control group study in quantitative dimension and case study in qualitative dimension were used. "Attitude Scale towards Work Environments" and "Entrepreneurship Scale for Secondary School Students" were used to collect quantitative data. Qualitative data were collected with the "Semi-structured interview form", "Evaluation rubric" and "Researcher's diary and observation notes" created by the researcher. Parametric tests were used in the analysis of quantitative data, and content analysis method was used in the analysis of qualitative data. According to the findings obtained from the research, programming activities prepared according to STEM education did not significantly contribute to the attitudes of secondary school students towards group environments and entrepreneurship skills compared to existing programming activities. In addition, according to the qualitative findings, it was determined that the conflicts and irresponsibility experienced during the activity caused the students to develop negative attitudes towards work environments.
