Concordator as a strategic method: An BIST of a business that has declared a contracted concordation financial analysis example

Businesses are developing various methods to overcome the financial crises and recession periods. These methods may vary depending on the financial crisis levels of the enterprises and the reasons and dimensions of the recession periods. In recent years, concordat has been among the methods that businesses have used to get rid of bankruptcy and stop their economic deterioration. The company declaring concordat takes a new step and will endeavor to continue and end this process successfully. It is necessary to study the analysis of the financial statements of the companies in order to have an idea about how they end up with declaring the concordat. Thus, financial analysis is an important source of information for business and business stakeholders. Thanks to financial analysis, financial life curves of businesses are presented to information users with concrete data. While financial analysis allows businesses to look at their snapshots, it also provides insight into businesses, primarily for investors and lenders. In this study, it was aimed to analyze and evaluate the financial analysis of a company that is listed in stock exchange and declared a concordat. For this purpose, the case study method was used in the study. The financial data between 2012-2020 in the financial statements of the manufacturing company were analyzed and interpreted. Covering only the years 2012-2020 is the limitation of the study. As a result of the study, it was unveiled that the profitability, efficiency, and equity conditions of Eminiş Packing Industry and Trade Incorporated Company are not sufficient, and the enterprise has made a concordat announcement as a result of these inadequacies
