The relationship between strategic leadership and emotional labor: An examples of school administrators in Ardahan

The purpose of thisresearch; Examining and evaluating the relationshipbetween Strategic Leadership and Emotional Labor. Inthiscontext, The opinions of 482 teachersworking in 24 primary, secondary and highschools in centralprovince of Ardahan provinceweresurveyed. Of the completedsurveys, 431 werefound to be metered and 89.6% werereturned. Inresearchmethod;.The '' Strategic Leadership Scale '' (SLS), developed and adaptedby '' Kılınçkaya (2013) '' to measure managers' strategic leadership practices,and "Emotional Labor Scales" (ELS) developedby and adaptedby "Basım and Begenirbaş (2013)" to measureteachers' emotionallaborbehaviors.The collecteddataweretransferred to SPSS 24 package program and subjected to correlation, t test and f testanalysis of variancefor the solution of subproblems. In interpreting the results, significancelevel (p <0,05) wasused. Significant and positiverelationshipsbetweenstrategic leadership practices and emotionallaborbehaviorshavebeenidentified as a result of allfindings.The studyconcludedthatbothvariables and sub-dimensionswereused at a highlevel. In addition, therewerefindings in the researchthatdemographiccharacteristicsshoweddifferences in bothstrategic leadership practices and emotionallaborbehaviors. Strategic leadership practiceshaveresulted in sincere and profoundemotionallaborbehaviors as the result of the deepening of behavioralconsequences, resulting in directimpact of strategic leadership on emotionallaborbehavior.In the lastpart, evaluationsweremade and recommendationsweremade to researchers, principals and teachers.
