Abstract (EN)

This study considers the impact of strategic management on the liberalization of international trade and its impact on economic growth in Libya. The focus of the study is to determine how strategic management practices such as technology adoption, strategic alliances, promoting a learning culture and product restructuring affect trade liberalization and economic development. The method of dividing the participants into categories according to their managerial roles and then random sampling within each layer was preferred. Data were collected through surveys and analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study used both descriptive and inferential statistical methods, including correlation analyses, to examine the relationships between variables. The findings show that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between strategic management practices and economic growth. Additionally, the study revealed that strategic management also plays an important role in liberalizing international trade, thus providing the Libyan economy with a competitive advantage in the global market. These results confirm the importance of integrating strategic management into policy making and business practices to achieve sustainable economic growth and competitive business advantages. The study contributes to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence on the positive impact of strategic management on both international trade liberalization and economic growth, with a specific focus on the Libyan context.
