Abstract (EN)

Effects Of Biofeedback Application And Kegel Exercises As Stress Urnary Incontinance Treatment On Urinary Incontnance, Quality Of Life And Sexual Function AIM: Urinary incontinence is not a life-threatening disease but constantly wetness makes emotional problems and depression with irritation and odor anxiety. In this study we compare short term results for stress urinary incontinence treatment with Kegel Exercises versus Neurotrac ® Myoplus 4 Pro. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We included 60 patients who is referred to Sakarya Training And Research Hospital(SEAH) Urogynecology Clinic of Gynecology and Obstetrics Department with stress urinary incontinence. Half of patients were given biofeedback treatment for 12 weeks and kegel exercises for the other half for comparison of before and after treatment results of urinary incontinence situation, quality of life and and sexual function. RESULTS: We found that Kegel exercises and biofeedback treatment decrease ICIQ-SF scores statistically significant which shows us severity, frequency and type of urinary incontinence and life of quality. And also we found this two treatment decrease FSFI scores statistically significant which shows sexual function of patients with urinary incontinence. CONCLUTION: Kegel exercises and Biofeedback Neuromodulation application with NeuroTrac® MyoPlus 4 Pro have statistically significant results on SUI treatment. Also with this two treatment patients with SUI which prevents people from doing their work, affects their quality of life and social life, treated with statistically significant improvement.
