Abstract (EN)
Radiation-induced liver cell damage is among the important complications of radiation treatments used in cancer therapy. Liver function tests, also known as liver enzyme tests, are used to monitor and help identify liver damage or disease. The tests check the levels of certain proteins and enzymes in your blood. Radiation damage to liver enzymes depends on the radiation dose received. The aim of this thesis study is to evaluate the Alanine aminotransferase (ALT), Aspartate aminotransferase (AST), Alkaline phosphatase (ALP), Bilirubin albümin (BA), Gamma-glutamyl (GGT), Prothrombin time (PT) tests on Normal and Abnormal Liver Enzymes subjected to radiation. As a result, the study findings showed that radiation therapy is effective in impacting liver function by comparing the ratios of liver enzymes before and after radiation exposure
