Abstract (EN)

The pollution caused by the overuse of fossil fuels to the present day causes global warming, which is a serious threat to the world. With the continuous increase in energy demand, renewable energy resources have become more important in recent years in order to meet the rapidly depleted energy resources and to meet the increasing energy demand. In addition, more effective use of existing resources and alternative energy systems have become a necessity to be developed in line with economic restrictions, easy to maintain and easy to maintain. In recent years, some studies have been conducted on the soil-humidified soil source heat exchangers in the literature, but there are not many studies on this subject. Current studies mostly focus on dry soil applications. In this study, air-conditioning applications of the energy laboratory within the boundaries of Sakarya University have been carried out by using an earth source heat exchanger which is considered as the process fluid. For this purpose, the pipes of an earth-source heat exchanger at an area of 80 m2 were placed in an artificial pool. In summer and winter experiments, energy costs for air conditioning have decreased. According to the experimental results obtained from the study, the comparison of the water-fluid and air-fluid ground source heat exchanger with the electric air-conditioning and natural gas combi boiler systems has been economically compared. Although the installation costs are higher in the soil source heat exchanger model, it is determined annual operating cost is lower than other systems. Based on a period of 10 years, it has been determined that it is more economical and applicable than alternative systems.
