One of the main problems that arise with the increase of the world population is the limitation of energy resources. The rapid decline of fossil resources and the increasing energy consumption led to the exploration of new sources. The largest alternative to fossil resources in the 21st century has been renewable energy sources. One of the areas with high energy needs is agricultural activities. In order to supply this energy need, wind energy, which is one of the renewable energy sources, has been used for the grinding of cereals as well as from the wells. Today, wind energy usage areas are expanding day by day. In this study; In order to be used in an agricultural activity that can be applied in the Bursa Karacabey region, it is aimed to obtain the energy required for the extraction of groundwater to the surface by using wind turbines. Using the wind speed data measured between 2008 and 2015 at Karacabey meteorology station; with the power and energy values that can be obtained in the case of using wind turbines with 300 kW, 600 kW, 900 kW and 1 500 kW power in the system; usability of some of the chosen submersible pumps, numbers of submersible pumps and the amount of water that can be pumped has been analyzed and shared. In the results of working; It has been determined that the energy that will be used to supply groundwater with submersible pumps in Karacabey region can be supplied from wind energy.
