Abstract (EN)
Water Resources Management is becoming more important nowadays as we are facing a lack of water because of global warming and also inefficient usage of water supplies. To achieve an efficient water resources management, all associated institutions should be organized for this focus. They should observe if these organizations are functioning correctly, and should build a management system based on performance. By this way, each institution could measure the efficiency of their resource usage, and they could also apply the same performance analysis among similar institutions.A lot of techniques have been developed to measure performance among similar institutions by using similar measurement methods. In this study, two of them, regression analysis and data enveleopment analysis are considered. There is no doubt that the application of these methods needs a well organized data collection and storage system. The methods considered are applied to the water companies in England.
