Abstract (EN)
Water Resources Management is becoming more important nowadays as we are facing a lack of water because of global warming and also inefficient usage of water supplies. To achieve an efficient water resources management, all associated institutions should be organized for this focus. They should observe if these organizations are functioning correctly, and should build a performance based management system. By this way, each institution could measure the efficiency of their resource usage, the same performance analysis among similar institutions could also made by a regulator.Several techniques have been developed to measure performance among similar institutions such as regressıon analysis and Artificial neural networks and data envelopment analysis. In this study, we have considered Regression analysis and ANN. The application of these methods needs a well organized data collection and storage system. The methods considered are applied to the water companies in England as the required data is available.
