Abstract (EN)

It is crutial to test aerodynamic forces of a model or structure which will be exposed to flow before production. For this reason, there are many kinds of aerodynamic test equipments designed and still being used. In this study, which focuses on the R&D and design processes of aerodynamic force measurement system is designed to provide axial, pitching and rolling movements of the various models that are required to perform fluid analysis within the water tunnel. It is aimed to perform static, dynamic and step scanning experiments under the titles of aerodynamic force measurement and flight simulation with the help of sixaxis external force balance system which is connected to robotic motion control system. Predetermined automatic motion control and force measurement scenarios, model motion control and aerodynamic force measurement are provided with integrated Labview® interface. As a result, this laboratuary equipment is designed in the scope of thesis, produced in-site of Turbotek Turbomakina Teknolojileri Ltd. Şti. and it is currently being used by the department of machine engineering in Cukurova University.
