Abstract (EN)

In this study, structural waterproofing products, structural water insulation applications and effects of waterprofing admixtures on the concrete were investigated in six parts. In the first part, studies on water insulation carried out in Turkey and in the world and the importance of waterproofing were analysed, waterproofing problems and negative effects of these problems on people were examined. In the second part, water insulation products, market analysis of these products, their application processes and important points to consider during these applications are explained in details. In the third part, importance of roof waterproofing, its application stages and building rules for roof water insulation were investigated. In the fourth part, foundation waterprofing, impacts of water and corrosion, design and application of this insulation were analysed. In the fifth part, wall, slab, wet area, bridges and viaducts waterproofing application processes were explained. In the last part, different waterproofing admixtures, their effects on the concrete were analysed by laboratory trials. In each six part, water insulation, waterproofing products and their application processes were investigated.Key Words: Water insulation, water insulation products, concrete and mortar waterproofing
