Abstract (EN)
In this study, esterification of acetic acid, butyric acid, cinnamic acid, salicylic acid and benzoic acid with n-propanol, n-butanol, methanol, ethanol, benzyl alcohol,octanol and isoamylalcohol has been carried out in sub-critical water, sub-critical and supercritical alcohol without using any catalyst. This investigation has shown that subcritical and supercritical ambients are excellent medium for esterification reaction.
