Abstract (EN)
In our industry one of the biggest environmental problem is the waterwhich is mixed chromium and its compounds. In this study thechromium which is the reason of pollution was tried to be eliminatedby the absorption method using diatoma. In this study Cr(NO3)3.9H2Osolution was used and firstly discontinuous system optimization wasmade. In the first step specifications of the sorbent was determined forthis reason proper quantity and unit examined parametrically. 4different size and 5 different amount of sorbent was used. After thencontact time to the effect of absorption was determined. The effects ofthe temperature to absorption was evaluated with using 3 differenttemperature value. As a result of the experiments Cromium wasremoved % 85 percentage from the waste water in conditions of using1,29 mm grain material at 30 ºC temprature for 60 minutes.
