Abstract (EN)
Süleyman Nazif Efendi is one of the poets and prosers in the 19th century. He wrote poems and proses related to traditional artistic sytle of our classical literatüre. Our thesis consists of Süleyman Nazif Efendi's life, his literal character and the translation of his only book we have "Eş'âr ve Münşeât". In this case our thesis leads to three main sections. In the first section, the life of Süleyman Nazif Efendi has been presented and his literal character has been evaluated. In the second section, "Eş'âr ve Münşeât" has been studied in two subtitles as formation and content. In the third section, the transcription of the work has been given. In that thesis it is aimed to introduce Süleyman Nazif Efendi and his known only work "Eş'ar ve Münşeât". Keywords: Süleyman Nazif Efendi, Poem, Script, Classical Turkish Literature. 19th Century
