A translation of Ihyâ for the period of Sultan Ahmed I: Yenâbî'ü'l-Yakîn fî İhyâ'i 'Ulûmi'd-Dîn (Analysis and edition)

Yenâbî'ü'l-Yakîn fî İhyâ'i 'Ulûmi'd-Dîn is a work written in Ottoman Turkish at the beginning of the XVII century. The only copy we have is registered in the Fatih Library of the Süleymaniye Library with the number 2574. The work was introduced as the work of Sheikhulislam Bostanzâde Mehmed Efendi and as a translation of Imam Ghazali, as a work of Sheikhulislam Bostanzâde Mehmed Efendi, especially in the articles in which Imam Ghazali was introduced and in various sources that gave information about Sheikhulislam Bostanzâde Mehmed Efendi. However, different opinions about the author of the work are given in the examination section. Yenâbî'ü'l-Yakîn fî İhyâ'i 'Ulûmi'd-Dîn is not a one-to-one translation of Ihyâ, but contains verses, hadiths and some narrations that are related to the subjects in Ihyâ and are considered to be important to the author. The work has both a prose and a poetic structure. There is contradictory information about the work, especially about its author, in recent sources. In our study, the true author of the work was tried to be determined and these contradictions were resolved by giving the information determined about the work. In addition, the work was transcribed by examining the shape and content of the work.
