Özet (EN)

In this thesis and the projects it is supported by, two of the geophysical methods with the deepest research depth after Seismology, namely the Magnetotelluric method and the Gravity method, have been utilized. Within this thesis, a total of 54 magnetotelluric measurements were taken along 6 profiles in the region between Eber Lake and Akşehir Lake, which is situated on the Sultandağı Fault System. Time-series analysis was conducted on the collected data, and using Fourier transformation, the frequency domain Apparent Resistivity and Impedance Phase were calculated. The data were subjected to 2D inversion to derive MT models. In order to perform the 2D inversion of the MT data, the direction of the telluric current was determined. The data, rotated according to the direction of the telluric current, were subjected to inversion using the licensed 'WinGLink' software at Afyon Kocatepe University, JUAM Directorate, to obtain Resistivity models. Additionally, gravity data measured by MTA (Mineral Research and Exploration General Directorate) in the region were obtained as part of this thesis. Derivative methods for identifying discontinuities and downward continuation methods for determining fault depths were applied to the gravity data. Density models were obtained by performing 2D modeling with 'WinGLink' software for comparison with the MT models and estimating the depth of the alluvium in the region. Based on these findings, the models were interpreted, and comments were made regarding the tectonics of the region and the depth of the seismogenic zone.
