Abstract (EN)
In this study, the Amphibian and Reptilian fauna of the Sultanmountains where issituated in SW part of Central Anatolia Basins, Akşehir and Eber lake extend NE part of theSultanmountains, Eğirdir and Beyşehir lake extend SE part of the Sultan Mountains wasinvestigated. The specimens were collected June-September 2001, April-October 2002, April-Novenber 2003, Februar-July 2004 and examined morphologically in tems of pholidosis, bodymesasurements, ratios, colaration and pattern. Subsequently, result were compared with otherstudies. The biological end ecological features were mentioned under the same heading aswell. Systematical position the spesies of which we have a sufficient number of samples weremore accurate in terms of morphological characteristics.A total of 13 amphibians and reptiles were determined in Sultanmountains. Of thesespecies 5 were anurans, 2 were tortoise, 11 were lizards, 11 were snakes. All spesies wereexamined in subspecies level and their taxonomic status were explained.Key Words : Sultanmountains, Herpetofauna, Ecology
