Özet (EN)
The destructive effect of human activities on the natural balance of earth with the start of industrial revolution is over its bearing capacity. Worsening enviromental problems with over population, urbanisation, industrialisation, and economic development caused the appearence of many problems such as; global climate change, decrease of fresh water supplies, ozon layer weakening, desertification. and food problem.There are three main approaches in means of search for solution to environmental problems: Zero Growth Approach, Economic Growth Should Continue Approach, and Sustainable Development Approach.Sustainable Development Approach is an improvement concept which pays regard to a balance between generation today and future. In this approach pollution permit market (emission trade) occupies an important place in solution search for environmental problems.This study tries to determine whether the pollution permit market is effective in the frame of Sustainable Development Approach.
