Abstract (EN)

This study, which aims to determine the values and beliefs of teachers in terms of various variables for education for sustainable development, is part of the relationship screening model. "Sustainable Development Values and Sustainable Development Education Beliefs Scale" was used as a data collection method. The working group of the study is the teachers of the class (n=180), science (n=60) and social studies (n=50) working in primary and secondary schools in Bandırma district of Balıkesir province in the 2018-2019 academic year. The data obtained in the study were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, LSD test Pearson correlation analysis. SPSS 25.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, teachers' tolerance and perceptions of sharing responsibilities were found to be at a high level, perceptions of equality were found to be at a medium-high level, general perceptions of value were found to be at a medium level. The branch factor does not have a meaningful impact on the value perceptions of its teachers towards sustainable development. In addition, the obstacles faced by teachers during the teaching of educational issues for Sustainable Development, their methods and techniques were also discussed in detail within the scope of the research were revealed.
