Abstract (EN)
Abstract: In this research, the concept of sustainable development is examined theoretically and its historical development is discussed. The aim of this research is to analyze the postgraduate theses on sustainable development in Turkey and to reflect them in integrity and to draw attention to the importance of the issue. Firstly, in the field of education and training on sustainable development in Turkey master's and phd theses have been reached. Theses levels by making use of the pre-determined thesis review forms, the categories such as university, institute, year of publication, keywords used, research methods, data collection tools, working groups were determined and theses were analyzed. A total of 19 postgraduate dissertations were documented by the researcher using expert opinion. In the theses, "sustainable development" key concept has been preferred most frequently, "mixed research method" was used the most. The most used data collection tool is "document ", "teachers" in various branches were selected as the most frequently preferred working group. It is thought that it will contribute to new studies both through the explanatory information given and the theses analyzed.
