Özet (EN)

The share of the settlement areas that due to the rapid construction and unplanned urbanization that have occurred from the past to the present in the amount of energy consumption is quite large. This share has been increasing in recent years, the creation of sustainable environments and the application of energy efficient design approaches are becoming increasingly important. On the other hand, unlike the traditional methods used in the construction sector for years, the BIM concept is adopted with the innovations and conveniences through applicability of energy efficient and sustainable design approaches. Within the scope of this study, the design parameters that are effective in ensuring sustainability and energy efficiency of existing residential structures have been evaluated in accordance with the concept of BIM, which has become increasingly important in recent years. Analyses were carried out using Insight 360 and Green Building Studio, which are add-ons of Revit Architecture program. He annual energy consumption and CO₂ emissions obtained from the analysis results were evaluated through graphical comparisons. Optimal values that ensure the lowest energy consumption among the design parameters were identified. Based on these values, a set of recommendations has been developed. For this purpose; In the first part of the study, Deciphering the problem, the purpose, importance, assumptions, limitations, scope, method and technique of the research were explained and the importance of the relationship between sustainable settlement structures and BIM was mentioned. In the second part, the concept of sustainability and BIM are focused on, and general information on this topic is included. In the third part, the design parameters affecting energy efficiency in the design of residential structures are described in detail. In the fourth part, annual energy consumption amounts were calculated by conducting energy analyses on a reference building located in an existing residential structure. The results obtained were evaluated comparably on the graphs taken from the Insight 360 plug-in and the effects of design parameters on sustainable settlement texture design were examined. In the fifth part, the findings and evaluations obtained and the related results are included. According to the results, the reference layout texture can be improved by providing a reduction of up to 7.8% in total energy consumption by integrating the courtyard walls, which are considered to be the building shell and solar control system compared to the existing settlements in settlement alternatives developed with the most appropriate combinations made on the reference layout texture and buildings.
