Abstract (EN)
The environmental issues remain every day all around the world. People have to evaluate every existing areas, use the resources efficiently, build the instructions with ecological decisions because they do not have a second house without world. And also people fight against these environmental issues with sustainable trend. Sustainability is so important in architectural design as well as all the area which sustainability affects. Environmental issues augmentation is in proportion with the population growth. The world needs sustainable high-rise buildings to host the population and to build environmentally friendly green buildings. Both construction of a high building and sustainable building consist on certain design princibles. Existence of the systems that are enable to evaluate high-rise buildings and sustainable buildings together, indicate the texture of a design guide that increases the environmental effects of high-rise buildings. There are no specific international rating systems for the sustainable high-rise buildings. The High-rise buildings' source consumptions brim over and their environmental effects are major problem due to requirement of the sustainable high-rise building design criterias In this thesis, the policies in the literature are thereby supervised, is comprised of a method that requires sustainable design criterias in the design period evaluation. This executed method is compared with the most popular rating system LEED. Sapphire which is one of the most highest building of Turkey that is designed with the LEED criterias and is prominent for having the energy efficiency façade, is subjected to both LEED and new design guide. As a result of the new system that is controlled by LEED BD+C: Core And Shell Category, is created a design guide for the sustainable high-rise buildings.
