Abstract (EN)
Assumptions regarding world are opinions and thoughts based on one's mental and personal views. Post-traumatic growth is expressed as positive, in other words, positive changes. resulting from coping with highly negative and challenging life events Anxiety; means anxiety, feeling of suffocation, distress, anxiety. The aim of this study is to examine the assumptions about the world and the predictive effect of post-traumatic growth on anxiety in Syrian refugees. In this research using descriptive method, the sample of the research consists of female refugees living in Fatih district on the European side of Istanbul. 341 women participated in the study. In this study, data were obtained with the "Socio-Demographic Information Form", "Assumptions About the World Scale", "Post Traumatic Growth Scale", and "Beck Anxiety Scale" Data analysis was done in SPSS program. In the study, it was determined that there is a significant relationship between the assumptions about the world and anxiety. It has been determined that there is a significant relationship between post-traumatic growth and anxiety. It was determined that there is a significant relationship between assumptions about the world and post-traumatic growth. It has been determined that there is a significant relationship between assumptions about the world, post-traumatic growth and anxiety. Assumptions about the world and post-traumatic growth were found to have significant predictive power on anxiety in Syrian refugees. The findings were discussed within the framework of the literature and various suggestions were made.
