Abstract (EN)
In this study, effect of formation on Al alloy sheet by using, a new joining process, which is has been investigated. For this aim, SiC particules were coated to 7000 series Al-alloy surface by using friction stir with 2° slope and 500, 700 and 1000 rpm and 15, 20 and 30 mm/min feeding rate by using a stirer with 0,1 mm deep. SiC particules dispersion on the surface and coating properties were examined by metallographic examination. In addition, the effect of coating parameters on the coatability were investigated by using microhardness measuring on coated layer. The above results have shown that friction stir technique can be use for surface coating.
