Abstract (EN)
In this research, ethnobotany survey has been made in order to characterize the plants which are important in economic and people take advantage of. For this aim, a survey has been made in Suşehri city center and settlements close to here. 125 plant samples with ethnobotany feature have been picked and defoliated using herbarium technique. The different kinds of ethnobotany information related to these plants have been gathered. The informations reached and its outcome have been mentioned in detail in this passage. According to the survey results 125 plants (taxon) have been qualified as used ethnobotany way in the area. These plants have been used mostly in medical (68) ,food (63), food of animal origin (28), goods (19), ornament (5) and other aims (10). The percentages according to the aim they are used %35 medical, %33 food, % 15 food of animal origin, % 10 goods, %3 ornament and % 4 other aims. Furthermore, the distribution of these plants by family and the percentages have been determined. The first 4 families mostly used with the respect to kinds are these: Asteraceae (14), Rosaceae (14), Apiaceae (8) and Fabaceae (8). 2013, xv+224 pages Key Words: Ethnobotany, Suşehri, Sivas
