Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to compare the use of milk somatic cell count (SCC), electrical conductivity (EC) and California mastitis test (KMT) in the detection of mastitis in cow's milk. The animal material of the current study consisted of Black and White cows of similar age and lactation. Somatic cell count (SCC), electrical conductivity (EC) and pH values, which are parameters that change in milk during the mastitis disease process, were measured. As a result of the study, it was understood that there was a positive correlation between the somatic cell count (SCC) of milk and the california mastitis test (KMT), pH and electrical conductivity during the mastitis disease process (correlation coefficients r = 0.907; r = 0.853 and r = 0.897, respectively).
