Abstract (EN)

Agricultural greenhouses in warm climates grapple with a paramount challenge: excessive heat accumulation due to intense solar radiation. This issue has recently surged as the foremost concern for summer greenhouses, prompting ongoing research. Effective cooling strategies are imperative. Since the 18th century, it has revolutionized greenhouse cooling globally, remaining a staple technique. Other cooling methods exist. The current thesis delves into research on evaporative cooling in Iraq, applied to both summer and winter agricultural greenhouses. Compared to compression refrigeration, the multistage evaporative cooler curtails energy consumption, environmental pollutants, global warming effects, and manufacturing expenses. Suited for high humidity and temperature settings, it's viable for homes and substantial structures. Simulation findings showcase the developed evaporative cooler's prowess. Incorporating cooling stages markedly diminishes the out-dry bulb temperature by about 50% and specific humidity by roughly 80%. This innovation signifies a pivotal step towards environmentally friendly cooling solutions, ameliorating the pressing challenges posed by escalating temperatures.
