Abstract (EN)
Increasing profitability starts with minimizing production costs. In the past, companies have started their improvement works by minimizing their production costs, but the competition has become more difficult due to the developing technology and the increase in the number of enterprises in the sector. Businesses that want to compete in challenging conditions have sought cost minimization strategies in all kinds of inputs and outputs. One of the most important strategies found is the winning strategy when buying. Winning while purchasing means choosing the appropriate supplier while purchasing finished products, semi-finished products and raw materials. All criteria should be taken into consideration while making this selection and a decision should be made accordingly. Choosing the right supplier is very important for this result. Choosing can be difficult for decision makers because they try to select the appropriate supplier based on selection criteria with different, conflicting objectives. This selection problem is called a multi-criteria decision problem. Within the scope of this study, it is aimed to find a solution to the supplier selection problem in an automotive supplier industry business. For this purpose, criterion weights were determined by integrating the SWARA (Step-wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis) method, which is based on the opinions of expert decision makers, into the BAHP (Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. After the criterion weights were determined, the supplier scores were calculated with the BAHP method and the ranking was made. In order to evaluate the stability of the application and to determine how the change in weight values in different scenarios will affect the order of the alternatives, a sensitivity analysis was performed and the results were evaluated.
