Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT There has recently been important improvements in the chemistry of M(OAr)2 type bivalent compounds of Group 14 elements (Çetinkaya et al, 1980; Barrau et al, 1998). Steric and electronic effects of the bulky phenoxide ligands make stable these compounds. In this study, new Sn(ll) and Pb(ll) organometallic compounds with 2,6-di-t-butyl-4-dimethylaminomethyl phenol ligand (Ar'OH) were synthesized. Lithium and potassium phenol salts (Ar*OM) and metal compounds were characterizated by elemental analysis and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. The methods regarding synthesis studies are shown in the scheme.
