General System Theory is an innovative mentality, a method and/or an approach in analysis of particular cases and phenomena rather than being a totally new discipline alone. System refers to the whole composed of components. System means more than the pieces comprising it. Therefore, the system follows a ?holistic" approach for the cases and phenomena analyzed. Organizations each of which is an open system receive energy, information and materials from their environment and return them back to their environment or to other systems upon processing.Being the fourth power in pluralist systems, Media strengthens and increases its important every passing day and the supervision imposed on it is no more for the public only. Media has become the most effective tool in accessing to the public due to its capability for creating agenda and directing the society. Being an input for the organizations in terms of system theory, media analysis reveals a vital significance in this aspect. Media analysis helps the organization have a clear picture about the extent of reaching to the goals set in activities conducted, realization status of prestige improvement initiatives and rate of accessibility to the public.
