The change of the Presidental position in the T.C. period: Examination of the constitutional, political and application dimensions

In the recent period, Controversies on presidential system have become at the top of the agenda. Another issue that has taken place among controversial issues is the position of president of the republic. When a gaze upon the past years has been taken, the vulnerable executive structure has caused malfunctions and troubles in practice. In this respect, along with the changes on constitution has frequently come forth for empowering the execution's sake, a new constitution has been prepared recently. In this study of thesis; in the borders of Turkish Republic Constitutions, the position of the president of the republic has comparatively been dealt with at first. The position and rights of the president of the republic has been considered in terms of governmental systems and the change on Turkish governmental systems has been laid emphasis on. The possible effects of the new constitutional draft on presidential system and the place of the president of the republic has been taken a hand. In the study, in the frame of constitutional changes, executions of the presidents of the republic in republic era and their places in political system has been considered and an execution structure depending on one and only has been defended.
