The comparison of some socio-economic and educational values between volleyball tariners graduated Turkish Volleyball Federation courses and physical education teachers who are working at the scholls of the Ministry of Education responsible for volleyball activites

The purpose of this study is to investigate some socio-economic and educational values between volleyball trainers graduated from Turkish Volleyball Federation courses and physical education teachers who are working at the schools of The Ministry of Education responsible for volleyball activities.There are 80 volleyball trainers and 80 physical education teachers from both İstanbul and Ankara in the research groups. A questionnaire is applied to the people in the research groups and datas are interpreted by the help of frequency and percentage distribution in SPSS.Each question in the questionnaire is interpreted and compared for both volleyball trainers and physical education teachers.As a result of this study, it can be said that there are some similarities between volleyball trainers and physical education teachers about socio-economic status. Both volleyball trainers and physical education teachers work in another job. They like these second jobs and they choose working, because they are interested in sports. The problems and expections are nearly the same for both two groups.From the point of educational levels, only a few number of volleyball trainers state themselves as high school and two-year degree graduates, but all physical education teachers in the reasearch group state themselves as university graduates or they have master?s degree. In addition to these, most volleyball trainers state themselves as university graduates or master?s degree and two volleyball trainers state that they have doctoral degree.
