Abstract (EN)

The study investigates the changes in buckling loads and damage of carbon prepreg laminated composite plates subjected to low energy impact at low and high temperatures. The impact tests are applied with Instron Dynatup 9250 drop weight impact tester for uni-directional(UD) composite plates at high temperature and a drop weight testing machine constructed beforehead for ones in low temperature. The damaged areas are identified with C-Scan, dent depth is measured with comparator and damage types are observed with microscobe. The results of critical buckling loads are to be obtained from compression testing machine for composite plates subjected to low energy impact at different temperatures.
