Abstract (EN)

In this study, the use of various composite materials as ballistic armor materials was investigated. For this purpose different layers of different composite materials were produced by using ASTM B265 titanium sheet and CT709 Aramid Fiber Fabric 200 gr/sgm plain. The ballistic strength of the obtained ballistic materials against 9 mm FMJ bullets was examined according to NIJ-STD-0101.06 standard. As a result, successful samples were produced at the level IIA according to the NIJ-STD-0101.06 standard in terms of wearability and handling and in terms of ballistics.
