Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Touch Math to teach number-object matching by using simultaneous prompting via the software named Let's Learn Numbers by Touching, prepared to use in mobile environments to children with mild intellectual disabilities. Besides, this study investigated the generalization of these required skills and the maintenance of the skills that were taught even after the end of implementation and the opinions of teachers and mothers of the students on this study. One girl, two boys, total of three students with mild intellectual disabilities who attend a rehabilitation center in the city of Bolu participated in this study. One of the single subject research methodologies, multiple probe with probe trials design acrossparticipants, was used in this research. The findings of the study demonstrated us that children with mild intellectual disabilities acquired, generalized and maintained number-object matching by using simultaneous prompting via the software named Let's Learn Numbers by Touching, prepared to use in mobile environments. The findings obtained from the interviews held with the teachers and the parents demonstrated that their opinions towards the software named Let's Learn Numbers by Touching were positive. They tought that this procedure was effective on their children's number-object matching.
