Özet (EN)
2-D materials with unique properties obtained by using different methods than 3-D structures attract great attention. On the other hand, the applicability of 2-D materials in large areas and their usability in devices is a still a challenge. MXene is a new member of the 2-D material family that has been experimentally demonstrated in recent years, and the number of studies on MXene is increasing day by day. Within the scope of this study, CVD growth and optimization studies of Mo2C were carried out. Furthermore, NaCl was used as catalyst in CVD growth experiments and characterizations of Mo2C transferred onto SiO2/Si were performed. Catalyst molarity optimization studies were carried out to maximize the surface coverage ratio. In addition to these, the effect of the catalyst used on the Mo2C thickness after the CVD growth and the transfer was investigated. Raman characterization studies were carried out depending on the temperature between 94 and 498 K. First order Raman modes of Mo2C were analyzed and thermal coefficients were calculated. Within the scope of electrical characterization, the resistivity value was measured as 1.08 x 10-2 Ω.cm surface resistance value was 1080 Ω/sq in the case of not using the catalyst, while the resistivity value was measured as 9.57 x 10-4 Ω.cm surface resistance value was 47 Ω/sq in the case of catalyst was used. MXenes have many application areas. As a result of the electrical characterization studies, it has been seen that it can be used in electromagnetic shielding studies in aviation.
