Abstract (EN)
In this study, for measurement of temperature during machining, effects of coated material and cutting parameters including cutting speed and feed rate on the tool-chip interface temperatures and surface roughness have been investigated using tool-workpiece thermocouple method. Changing of the obtained temperature values, temperature effects on cutting tool and tool holder related to tool coating material type, were investigated by ANSYS software. The circulation system with water cooling was developed and used in order to reduce tool holder body temperature and stabilize of cold point temperature in back of tool holder. It can be seen that the cutting speed is more effective parameter than feed rate on temperature from obtained temperature values in consequence of machining tests related to cutting speed and feed rate on AISI 1015 steel. While the lower temperature was obtained about 596 °C in tool-chip interface on uppermost of using multilayer tool coated TiN with value of 50 m/min cutting speed and 0,24 mm/rev feed rate, the highest temperature value was obtained about 1009 °C using uncoated cementide carbide tool with value of 205 m/min cutting speed and 032 mm/rev feed rate. The results showed that the temperature arised tool-chip interface reduced with the coated cutting tool. It was observed following the analysis, coated materials which have different thermophysical features are an effective parameter on the dispersion of temperature. The lowest temperature dispersion on tool holder was obtained with on uppermost of using multilayer tool coated TiN, according to coated material type. Beside, the desirable effects on average surface roughness was observed by increasing temperature related to cutting speed. The minimum value of average surface roughness was obtained about 1,9 urn using cutting tool, coated TiN on top with value of 205 m/min cutting speed and 0,24 mm/rev feed rate.Key Words : Tool-chip interface temperature, Tool-workpiece interface temperature thermocouple Method, Cutting Tools, Cutting speed, Feedrate, Finite element analysis, Surface roughness.
