Simplification and grading of Takvim-i Meskûkât-i Selçükiyye

The aim of this study is to evaluate the Anatolian Seljuk coins in the light of the information obtained by simplifying the work called Takvîm-i Meskûkât-ı Selçûkiyye, which deals with the coins of the Anatolian Seljuk State. The study consists of an introduction and a chapter. In the introduction part, the history of the coin, the importance of meskukat and the life of İsmail Galib, one of the first Turkish numismatists and the author of the book named Takvîm-i Meskûkât-ı Selçûkiyye, are mentioned. In the first part, the work in question has been simplified and graded. In the conclusion part, a general evaluation has been made and interpreted based on the simplification. As a result of these studies, in the light of the simplified work, the structure of the coins, their properties and the information they reflect were determined.
