The effect of demand management on the supply chain performance and the importance of data management in business in this process: A research in İstanbul

The result of competition in today's economy; is depends to overall supply chain performances, not individual company performances. In this context, companies should make continuous improvements in their supply chain performance in order to ensure success. Recently, demand management has become an increasingly important issue for businesses to manage their relationships with their customers. It is accepted by many researchers that this concept, which has become popular day by day, has a significant impact on supply chain performance. In this study; It is aimed to investigate whether demand management has an effect on supply chain performance and whether it changes according to the results of data management processes in companies. Survey method was used in the research. The questionnaires were applied to 199 participants who apply data management and 108 participants who did not. In the analyzes; the effect of demand management processes on supply chain performance was examined on firms performing data analysis and firms not performing data analysis.
