Abstract (EN)
At present companies have to take cognizance of customer value by adapting conditions of increasing competition for gaining advantage in the face of theirs competitors. So there should be accommodations to changing demands. It is the demand chain approach that makes companies in cooperation with the customers.A demand chain is defined as a special customer-oriented supply chain network structure, in the decision making process, that analyses customer demand and the market conditions in order to reach an efficient distribution.In this study, a demand chain network structure, which is a special type of supply chain, is designed. The required components are determined in order to design the model in a demand chain network that is appropriate for any company by the help of the relationships between the customer and manufacturer. As a result of these relationships it can be said that it will be useful for the firms to make decisions of purchasing and service accordingly to the demand and need of the customers.Eighty-five customer and twenty dealer surveys are applied to get the inputs of the model. The outputs of the survey are used to evaluate the status of the firms by the statistical analysis. The decision rules are obtained by using the CART algorithm. These decision rules are useful for predicting what might happen in the future and determining which method the companies need to develop.
